I’m Dan Duran, a first-generation Chicano boomer who has spent a lifetime translating the world. My first act was in the high-stakes world of global marketing with corporate giants where I navigated international boardroom and and consumer behaviors
My second act was in the University classroom where I had the privilege of teaching and leading students beyond the classroom and across borders to see the world through a new lens.
Now, in my third act at nearly eighty, I am traveling the world with my wife for the purest of reasons: to simply be present.
I hope you enjoy these short stories of where I have been and where I hope to go inspire you to look back at your own travel and learning experiences and renew your curiosity to beg back on the road.
